The figure itself is polyresin, modelled in relief and painted by hand. Two slots at the top hold writing tools, and the set includes a ballpoint pen plus a mechanical pencil that takes 0.5 mm leads, which are not supplied. Designs on the writing set follow the same theme. The whole piece measures 14.5 x 4.7 x 3.5 cm.
