How locker delivery works
Four steps, start to finish. Click through them below, or use your arrow keys.
Step 1 of 4
1Choose a locker at checkout
Add your goodies to the cart as normal. At checkout, select the InPost option and pick a locker or shop near your home, your work or anywhere in between.
2We pack and dispatch
Your order gets the same careful packing as every parcel that leaves our warehouse. Boxed figures travel protected, whether they're heading to a doorstep or a locker.
3You get a collection code
InPost emails you a QR code and a collection code the moment your parcel lands. Got the InPost app? You'll get a notification too, and you can open the locker straight from your phone.
4Collect 24/7
Scan your QR code at the locker screen and your compartment pops open. That's it. You have three days to collect, and InPost sends a reminder when 24 hours are left.
Why bother with a locker?
Honest take: once you've grabbed a parcel at 11pm on the way home, waiting in all day for a courier feels a bit daft.
Your parcel sits safe in its compartment until you turn up. No missed delivery slips, no rearranging your day.
Most InPost lockers run 24/7, every day of the year. Collect before work or after a night out.
Lockers sit outside supermarkets, petrol stations and along commuter routes up and down the UK.
Scan and go. With the InPost app you can open the compartment remotely without touching the screen at all.
Locker delivery FAQs
How long will my parcel be held at the locker?
Three days. InPost emails a reminder when 24 hours are left, and if the parcel isn't collected in time it comes back to us. If that happens, get in touch and we'll sort redelivery or a refund.
What if my parcel is too big for a locker?
The largest locker compartments take parcels up to roughly 41 x 38 x 64 cm and 15kg, which covers most of what we sell. For bulkier pieces, choose home delivery. The options shown at checkout are the ones available for your order.
Can I return an order through a locker?
InPost lockers handle returns: scan a QR code, drop the parcel in a compartment and you're done. Start any return through our Returns Portal first and you'll see the return options available for your order.
How do I find my nearest locker?
You'll see nearby lockers and shops when you select InPost at checkout. You can also search by postcode on the InPost locker finder. Keep an eye out at your local supermarket or petrol station.
How much does locker delivery cost?
Pricing depends on your order, and you'll see the exact cost next to each delivery option at checkout before you pay. Full details for every service are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Can someone else collect my parcel for me?
Yes. Share your QR code or collection code with a friend or family member and they can pick it up on your behalf. Handy if you're away when the three days are ticking down.
