The Messenger - PlayStation 5
Product Details
The Messenger for PlayStation 5 is a ninja action platformer from Sabotage Studio, on disc from 21 March 2025.
You play a young ninja carrying a scroll across a cursed world. It starts as a tight, retro 8-bit platformer, then shifts into a 16-bit style as time travel comes into play and the map opens up. Movement is sharp. The cloudstep jump, which refreshes when you hit enemies or objects, keeps you moving through tough sections. The writing is funny too, especially the shopkeeper. Fans of classic arcade platformers should pick this one up.
