Sonic Wings Reunion is a sequel to the arcade-style shooter Sonic Wings. The previous version was sold in 1998. Choose from 8 characters and destroy the mysterious organization 'Fatamornagana' that has progressed into the modern world. The scenario changes depending on the combination of characters.

Three sound modes are available. The original sound mode is composed by Sonic Wings series sound composer Soshi Hosoi. In the Arrange Sound Mode, the music of previous titles is completely arranged by Japan's most renowned sound creator. The user can set the music to be played. In Mao Mao mode, Mao Mao's song is played as background music.

The user can select the level of difficulty, invincibility mode, practice mode, and other detailed settings.
