Product Details
Ikon Collectables produced this Superman statue in the character's New 52 form.
The New 52 was DC's 2011 relaunch, which reset its titles and gave Superman a redesigned look built around the armoured suit and high collar rather than the trunks generations had grown up with. It remains a divisive era and a well collected one, and statues from it are the version of Superman a particular group of readers actually recognises as theirs.
Ikon Collectables makes statues aimed at adult display rather than play, so this belongs on a shelf or in a comics focused collection instead of in a toy box. It suits a DC collector building around a single character, or a reader who came to Superman during the New 52 run.
