This album showcases Bob Dylan’s concert at the Hughes Stadium, in Fort Collins, Colorado, on 23 May 1976 – the penultimate date of the second leg of the Rolling Thunder Review.
Playing alongside Dylan were Mick Ronson, T Bone Burnett, Steven Soles and David Mansfield all on various guitars – although T Bone also handled keyboard duties – with Rob Stoner on bass, Howard Wyeth on drums and Scarlet Rivera on violin.
Joan Baez also joined Dylan on the tour, and the four cuts (Blowin’ in the Wind, Railroad Boy, the unrecorded Woody Guthrie number, Deportee (Plane Wreck at Los Gatos) and I Pity the Poor Immigrant) on which she duets with Dylan are amongst the highlights of this iconic show.
