The Apothecary Diaries is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsu Hyūga that's been adapted into both a manga and anime. Following the young apothecary Maomao who was sold to the Emperor's palace as a servant, it sees her using pharmacologal skills to solve mysteries for the Royal Court.
